FREE admission to our monthly meetings
Specialist speakers for our monthly meetings, covering various topics, all aimed towards helping patients to understand and self manage their illness. If you cannot attend the meetings, membership will entitle you to join our "members only" Facebook page where you can view live streaming* of the guest speakers, either on the night or at a later time. (*Subject to speaker permission being granted.)

Volunteer reward evening
We give out certificates and badges to all volunteers who have helped during the year. We have a special award for the top fundraiser. The 'Eileen McConkey Fundraiser of the Year Award' plaque is donated, each year, by the husband of one of our members who passed away. We provide a special buffet meal for all members attending.

Put your questions to the experts
General questions can be forwarded to our Medical Adviser, Dr. Weir, Scientific Adviser Dr. Vance Spence, Dr. Joe Mc Veigh Adviser for Fibromyalgia. All have vast experience and knowledge about ME and/or Fibromyalgia.

Ongoing support within the group from other members
Members receive support, understanding and an opportunity to chat with other patients with the same or similar health difficulties/issues, both at meetings and via our online FaceBook groups.

Become a volunteer
Members have the opportunity to become a registered volunteer to help in any of the varied 'jobs' in the day to day running of the support group. All help is very much appreciated as most committee members are patients and 'working' to very limited capacity.

Become an ambassador
Members have the opportunity to become a dedicated Ambassador for the support group. This would only involve representing the group, on occasion, when no committee members are available.

Submit ideas and recommendations
Members ideas always welcomed and appreciated.

You can join at any of our monthly meetings, or you can print off the membership form and post it with a cheque to the charity address. Alternatively use one of the online methods below to pay immediately. Please remember to include your full name with payment, and to submit a completed membership form to us as soon as possible afterwards.
